A fun and casual way to wear a polka dot dress. I talk about this all the time, but I love when a piece of clothing can be worn multiple ways. When I purchased this dress (for $4) I immediately thought of dressing it up with heels. Flash forward to the day I actually wore it, well we didn't have anywhere fancy to go. I knew we had some errands to run and our usual Wednesday thrift store date, so I wanted to be comfy. I belted the dress and pulled it up a little to make it shorter/casual, added my trusty green vest, and my fav chucks. The structured bag added some polish to the look, and the simple chain necklace was a fun addition. Next time (when we find somewhere fancy to go) I would totally rock this dress with a pair of strappy gold heels, statement necklace, a floral clutch, and a bright pink lip. I never thought a $4 dress would be the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe. This my friends, is why I love thrifting!
Happy Hump Day!
