Taking a more subtle approach to the art of mixing prints, than this post i did earlier this year. I love how the simplicity of the stripes balances out the boldness of the floral skirt. And like i always say, a striped shirt is a must- have in any wardrobe, or a few, or ten. My lady blogger friend Tara from Three Wishes Style just recently did an article on some pattern mixing tricks here. ( i swear we have the same fashion mind because i didn't even see this post until late last night when i was catching up on her blog. i think she would agree!) I added my blue pumps which just so happen to be my wedding shoes, they are a little beaten up at the heel but that's only because they get so much use. I love that my wedding shoes are so versatile. The bright neon yellow clutch adds another pop of color and works well against the floral print. The accessories i kept at a minimum just because i wanted the patterns to be the main focus, my green chunky bangle, and a extra sparkly necklace was all it took to make this look a little more special.
